How does a temporary staffing agency work?

Employer reaches out regarding a need of staffing and then staffing agency and employer determine mutual agreement on a markup percentage to be billed.

What does a temporary staffing agency cost cover?

Staffing agencies will cover the cost of (all associated employer payroll costs) FICA, FUTA, SUTA, workers’ compensation, administrative fees, advertising and marketing costs, onboarding costs, turnover costs, etc.

What prescreening do you use?

AUE Staffing participates in drug screening, background checks and reference checks of all applicants.

What is a staffing agency?

A staffing agency, otherwise called an employment agency, works with various companies to fill open job positions with qualified candidates, usually for part-time, contract or temporary-to-permanent positions, although this can vary.

How long do temporary positions typically last?

The length of a temporary position can vary depending on the employer’s needs and the type of project or assignment. Some temporary positions may last just a few weeks, while others can last several months or even a year.

What is the difference between temp-to-hire and direct hire positions?

Temp-to-hire positions are temporary roles that could become permanent depending on the employer’s needs and the employee’s performance. Direct hire positions are permanent roles from the start.

How do I know if a temporary position could lead to a permanent job?

The Staffing Specialist will be able to inform you of the possibility of a temporary role becoming a permanent role when they initially discuss the position with you. Also, the employer may decide to hire you permanently based on your performance in the temporary role.

Do I have to pay any fees to AUE Staffing?

No, job seekers do not have to pay any fees to AUE Staffing. Our services are completely free for candidates, and we never charge any placement fees or deduct any fees from your paycheck.

Where are your offices located?

We have two Florida offices serving job seekers in throughout Orange County, Seminole County, Brevard County, Volusia County, Indian River County, and Manatee County. They are located in Altamonte Springs, FL and Melbourne, FL. We would be happy to hear from you.
